And guarding this flower....

It is amazing how often I find a "critter" when I am examining flowers under the microscope.  This guy (will all eight eyes!) was lurking in one of the cosmos I was trying to photograph,  The nice thing about spiders is that they stay very quiet (obviously waiting for a hapless bug to come by).
